Ember Fairbairn

Ember Fairbairn’s work is deeply intertwined within the relationship of natural and remote landscapes as well as her own body. It is a meditative practice using colour, gestural forms as well as experimental processes to reveal Ember’s deep connection to the land around her. Plumes of colour and sketches of paint build up a map which considers each mark of the artist’s brush as an undulating form within the rolling bushlands around her.
