Through her lens’ is the imagined view of the night sky from Elisabeth Hevelius’ (1647- 1693) perspective. In history, the lens has been skewed to focus on the achievements of a privileged few. However, by adjusting the lens it is possible to appreciate the achievements of others who have not been elevated by historical editing to the status of ‘the great men of science’.
